Afternoon yawl
Hi, pleased to meet ya gents...I look forward to learning alot while I am here.
My name if Matt, when I was 18 I purchased a 1968 Camaro (327 / 4 speed manual) in awesome condition, loved it...then sold it to buy my first house (AARRGGHH!) Anyways....just recently bought another, seems in decent shape. Engine runs great (another 327)...interior is nasty, but one of my best friend's father is a retired custom upholstry guy (goin black vinyl w/ houndstooth I think). Only real draw-back it seems is that it has a little mud under the wheel wells and up around them....underneath I see no rust, so not sure what it is hiding.
The most complex automotive operation I have ever performed is changing a carberator so I thought I would come here and read up a bit. I would really like to get this new '68 in great shape and keep it ad infinitum.
Anyways...pleased to meet yawl and take care.
