Ex Fresno Street Rodder
Just found this site and noted the reference to Fresno, CA. I was the first president of the now disbanded Fresno Street Rods in early 1970's. My business name was "Fresno Rods and Restorations" which I ran for several years. Notible associations were Dick Baskin, Hiram Quan, Terry Haun, Chris Maus, Jim Bedel, and many other crazys who opted to build and drive the old style street rods. Hopefully, some of these folks are still around and involved in rodding. I plan to make a trip to Fresno this summer and visit with some of the old and new community members. I just sold my 1933 Ford and am just finishing a 1927 Model T touring. My handle, NYCE1 came from a license plate which was given to me as appreciation for serving as president in the club so I have just kind of kept it over these years. Hoping to hear from some of the old guard.
