Smile New member from Nevada ( Nuh-Va-Duh!)

Hi - I have been a hot rodder for many years, strating out @ age 14 with a '55 Chevy Belair, later adding a BBC 427 coupled with a Muncie M22. After many years later, 1 wife and two kids, I have another '55. This time it's a 150 coupe. I'm currently gathering parts for a BBC I recently acquired.
My first question is on the casting numbers on the heads. It is 398781. The are open chamber& oval port. I can't seem to find any numbers even close. HELP!
    Thanks

Welcome to the club! Can't help you much on the casting numbers, is the engine still together or apart? This will bump your post to the top again and maybe Pat, Richard or some of the other guys that are more better then me on the chevy numbers will chime in?
