New? Guy
Hey everyone! Just found your site whilst surfin the net during some slow time at work. I like it so far. I am making my way back into drag racing after a short vacation. I went thru the late 60's and early 70's in a front engined dragster. My last 20+ years have been spent enjoying street rods, 27T, 38 Plymouth, 32 Ford. This trip I'm going with some sheetmetal around me, and much faster. Any other members here from south of Boston? I'll be watching and reading for a while before jumping in with any questions or opinions. As soon as I get a chance, I'll dump some pictures in.

The cage is all in. 12 point. I sure hope that's enough for the tech guys. If all the calculations are correct, and everything goes as planned, I hope to be somewhere in the 8's, but anything will be welcome. I'm spraying 500+ of juice. My problem is the body has been channeled 4" and I can't find a class that allows it. Man, stuff has changed since I raced on a regular basis years ago. $$$$

Just to be sure I ordered an SFI spec book from:
http://www.nhraonline.com/wklynews/1...er/113002.html
I think it was 'bout $5.00
It has color coded diagrams of cages for diferent classes. Tube size wall thickness requirements all that stuff. I'm also hooked up with the local track to get their imput as I go, since they will be givin' me the final thumbs up or down. Learned that building the house. If ya' ask em' for advise along the way they're much easier to please when it's inspection time!

I called the chassis shop yesterday, and was told to bring it by whenever I was ready. BTW I just loaded a few more pictures.
