Hello from Wyoming
Ah... Winter in the high plains. Not much to do but bench race, shoot the breeze and work on your projects as time/funding/warmth allows.
Current project is nothing more than a 350 engne. No home for it yet, but thinking of a lakes modified, or a roadster. Something simple and light.
Formerly large car collection whittled down to just two these days, 66' Corvair Corsa Turbo and a 63' LeMans convertible with a nasty slant four/four speed combo. I like em "quirky" .

Welcome to CHR! Both of your rides are neat - I really like the last gen Corvairs, and those LeMans' in the last year before the GTO's came on stage were pretty cool, too.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Welcome also from me in the deep south but we are into spring weather now and looking forward to a long summer of rodding action.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Welcome, spent a winter in Cody and Jackson, you get some cold weather there for sure! Nice cars in the collection. Post some shots when you get the chance." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Welcome, 'Noggin, come on in!
I have been through your fine state two or three times but it was always in the Summer and it was great, however, I understand it can get a little brisk around there in the winter.
You will find plenty of friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating car people here and you'll find them to be a great source of advice and information. No matter what situation comes up, somebody here will have been there and done that.
Several years ago I bought a derelict '66 Corsa that was sitting behind an abandoned service station in Virginia. The engine was disassembled and piled in the back seat. It was complete except for the four single barrel intake system. I bought a "spider" type intake for a small four barrel carb and what turned out to be a little too much cam (for street use) but I had a lot of fun surprising people at stop lights. It won a few awards at shows. I have some pictures but naturally I can't find them.
I sold it to my best friend who lived on a cul-de-sac (or however you spell that). He parked it at the end of the street. There was no traffic at all .... except for a high school kid speed testing his daddy's new big Mercury four door.
Totaled both cars and almost the kid too.
That was about 35 years ago and I'm still mad about it.
Glad to have you.
Jim

Thanks for the warm welcome!
It's been a nice fall for the most part, though we have had a -15 cold snap and a couple snow storms, so far. The next six to seven months will be a test to my sanity, thus the small project to keep my feeble mind occupied.
I might have some pics of the two cars, I'll do some digging.

I just uploaded a few pics of the current cars. I put them in a gallery under my username. Let me know if they don't work.
