Ha Ha!!
I meant the guest toilet in the downstairs Hallway as you now know
And as I took today off from track stuff I got all the chrome fixtures mounted in the dunny as well as a window blind !
Now all i have to do is fit some ceramic tiles for a splash back on the basin and the window shelf and I'm done. I will have a happy wife who will ignore the amount of deliveries that are arriving from the USA

That's pretty cool your buddy has a contender in the fastest street car. I always think that would be a cool feat, but the money it takes to get there is crazy. I'm out for a long while. Haha It looks like you're staying busy and it sounds like your businesses are doing the same as over here. Phasing............... Is that a sign of what is to come? Probably not, just who's pocket is more empty. Your mate's Capri is a sweet fast ride! And for what it's worth, we couldn't use the term mate like you can. They'd try to class our marriage cert as questionable over here anymore.Ryan

Hey Pel, you gotta remember that "Mate" is used not only in the UK but more so in New Zealand and Australia too and I dare say quite a few other places around the world so if Americans have a problem with us using our terminology that is their problem. I have difficulty understanding their spelling and the way they form sentences but don't get hung up on it and make issues of it. Heck some of our American friends on here can be very rude and critical of some posts too but them Time for my second coffee I think.Last edited by Whiplash23T; 05-07-2015 at 04:45 PM. Pel, nice parts stash, and sorry for the side tracking of your thread.
Mark, good lord. I made a joke. Is that against the law in your land?? And don't judge us to the crap the media decides to make front and center. There's plenty of other horrible crap that never makes it out of our borders especially in the media. The color thing is an easy political shit storm here right now which I swear they blow up to hide the real issues going on. Rant off!Ryan

Sorry Whip, but what do you mean by "...some of our American friends on here..."? Last time I looked we here in the good old USA have welcomed quite a bunch of people from the UK and NZ to this forum, which is very much AMERICAN!! We Americans enjoy the occasional differences in spelling of certain words, and especially the nuances of language that we see, but to have you come on here and start being critical? Sorry, but you need to check that crap at the door.
Sorry if I'm offending anyone, but ......no, I'm not sorry at all.
It appears that Whip & I were typing at just about the same time, and I had not seen his latest post when I typed mine but it really doesn't change anything, and I stand by what I posted. Bad form is bad form.Last edited by rspears; 05-07-2015 at 05:12 PM.

PEL the parts are quite nice. I know the giddy feeling as we gather what we need to make that project our own! Keep on posting Mate and ignore our joshing around, we truely appreciate you coming to our family forum and sharing. Whip I get it, some days just set us off and we missinterpret or misss judge where people and their comments are coming from. I have lots of Brit, Kiwi and Aussi friends, and I can't tell you how much fun it is to see what might be offensive one place, is quite normal in another. My first experience with this was in my teens, working in Glacier National Park, Montana, during the summer, when one of my British coworkers said, Steve, I'm so Pissed!. I said, what's wrong? he started laughing and said no, I'm pissed! (he meant drunk). Another funny momment was during a Microbiology final exam in college, when my friend and lab partner Trevor said, Steve do you have a rubber, during our Final exam. I turned red, and everyone in the room laughed, he just wanted to use my eraser!
Fianaly when working with a group of Brits in Wyoming one summer, I told my staff to get a "fanny pack" in town to keep their reciepts during the summer for acounting reasons during a wilderness adventure trip. All of the Brits and Aussies turned red. They had to explain to me that Fanny Pack had a much different meaning in the United Kingdom!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
