New here...my first build...37 Chevy Coupe
Hello everyone! Darren here and I am building a 1937 Chevy Coupe with a ZZ4, 700R4 and a Ford 8" Frame came from Fat Man Fab in North Carolina, and the body came from Cutting Edge Composites out of Canada...eh. Oh, with the help of my wife.
We inherited this project after my dad died in 08....has been a SLOW process...but fun...and pushing my lack of engineering mind to the brink, sometimes!
The next step for us in this build is to go mock the body up and see how she looks.
Ordering gas tank, radiator and an ISIS multiplexing system for my wiring harness....SUPER neat stuff!
I do at times feel overwhelmed and I am very thankful that I found this site.
I will post photos over in the build section soon.

Welcome aboard, looks like a good start. Try not to be overwhelmed by the entirety of the project, just approach it in segments that are manageable to the mind and enjoy.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Thanks for all of the warm wishes and encouragement! I have learned a lot just being on here for a couple of days! My goal is to be driveable this year, maybe not done 100% or how we envision the end to be, but at the very least hear the life come from the ZZ4. We shall see.

Thanks Glen! Yep, we started dating and within a few months, we started breaking down the frame for metal prep. That was in 02...after a series of life things happened we got it back to a rollin chassis again. It was a very joyous occasion!

Thank you! I think what put it over the top for my father was how clean the shop is kept. Craftsmanship is epic!
