BC guy cruises in here.....
Eh guys/gals,
My name is Shiny,I live in Victoria BC Canada.I build traditional Hot Rods for a living. My shop is called The Way Back Garage.I drive a model A 'roadster with room'everyday, used to be a sportcoupe. Its on original duece rails,SBC w/T-10,early bronco 9" w/3.70s.I'm married with a three yo son and we have a 2nd child due in may.Our family car is a 61 chevy Nomad,327/350.I'm buildin a 57 GMC suburban for my 'new'shoptruck.I'm also collectin parts to build a 30 model A fordor sedan for a family friendly hot rod.
My wife and I have put on a hot rod/custom/musclecar BBQ in june every year. Now its turned into quite the weekennd event!
It'll be held this june 25th-27th.
Its called the Island Invasion.Lotsa drivin goes on,not a lot of parkin you'll find at other rod runs.Plus saturday night we put on a Rockabilly/Rock&Roll show.
Anyways,I'm glad I found this place.I've been lurkin in the shadows for a while and thought 'this is a kewl place'
I hope I can help a bit in the tech part.......Shiny"prep it with an axe, paint it with a broom"

He shiny, you ever go fishing off of the west coast? Or are you too busy making money these days. Sounds to me like you have a young family, so maybe you don't have time at your age for these type of activities.Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.
