    Hello from Eastern NC

Just found this forum so looking forward to learning and sharing !! I just picked up a new project 1951 Chevy Tudor Sedan. Not sure which direction Im going in with it until I try to get it running. Car is very complete and original so I'm hesitant to cut it up but if the current driveline is weak I may do a resto-rod driver out of it with more modern drivetrain. Been many years since I tackled a big project and I am excited!! Here are some pics where it sat when I found it.

Like Tech said, Good Score! I had one just like that except mine was a kind of a sea sick green color (but I loved it anyway).

    Welcome aboard!

I'll add a welcome to CHR, and echo Tech, too! Good score on the Chevy! That's a great starting point, and I agree it looks too good to cut up at this point. Some may not agree, and think you need to "...release it's potential..." by cutting it apart, but I'd say you're on the right path. Looking forward to seeing what you do with along the way!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

When I was about 14, a friend, Richard Zehr and I used to go cruisin' with a neighbor fellow who had one of those sea sick green Chevies. His name was Paul Green. I have no idea how I'm able to remember that after 57 years, when I can't remember what happened yesterday. I visited Richard several years ago, (he had a blonde sister named Helen who was fiiiiiiiiiiine) but have no idea what happened to Paul. Under slightly different circumstances, Helen and I could have been a couple.

    Sorry, got off topic.
I can see the little Chevy with a 292 six banger bolted to a 5-speed.

Hi and welcome to the family. I do like the shape and the Chevy certainly looks like it has been stored reasonably well. I only hope you screwed the previous owner down on the price as it definitely needs four new tyres. LOL. I wouldn't want to see a hacksaw taken to that body either, update the suspension, later model running gear and you are ready to cruise.

I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Welcome. I'll add still another "nice score". With those skirts it inspires me to go in a "custom" direction with it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Good luck.
