New member from Colorado
Just found this forum and I hope I fit here. I finish up my last build, a 48 Ford F1, this coming summer and it is a mild custom. The vehicle in my avatar was my first Hot Rod that I started in 1961. I've been playing at this for over 50 years. Here is a picture of my 48, it is in the process of being painted.

This is what happens when a new user comes in and attempts to circumnavigate the anti spam filters. He posted without attachments, then went back and added a link or attachment which required manual moderator approval. As such, it does not show up in our "que" and his post (the first in the thread) becomes unreadable until a moderator comes in and manually approves the link and/or attachment(s).
We have these rules in place to keep the spammers at bay. On average, we get over 20-100 daily attempts at spam accounts being opened and spam being posted here. 99.99% of it does not get past us due to our tight restraints, and we like it that way.

Thanks for the explanation, Bill.
Welcome to CHR 48Steel. The F1 looks great! Looking forward to seeing/reading more about it. That beast in your avatar is "interesting", and definitely has that '60's/'70's look to it.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

48 Steel Welcome from another 48 F1 owner! Nice looking truck, and would love to see pics of the avatar hot rod you first built. This is a friendly site, just takes a little while to get approved to post pictures and such, but great people here!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Yeah, everyone's quick to point the finger of blame at me!
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that that I'm usually guilty!
But not this time; mrmustang has explained the situation (thanks for that,) and I'm absolved.
Welcome to CHR 48steel, purely love that model truck.johnboy

Thanks for the comments guys. A new forum takes some getting used to and I wasn't trying to by pass any spam system and I sure don't want to get off on the wrong foot here, just trying to get a picture up. I know that on the other forums I'm on, they like pictures. If the administrator reads this let my know when I can post pictures and get a gallery going. Some info. on the 48 F1: 8 year project, garage built, boxed frame, Jag IFS, Lincoln Mark VIII IRS, aluminum drive shaft, 2" chop, 3" channel, rear roll pan with frenched license plate, exhaust through the pan, extended rear fenders, in the bed tonneau cover, hidden hinges, shaved door handles, one piece door glass, modified dash, Ford bucket seats, Ford center console +arm rest, 3" pancaked and reversed hood, Ford 408 CID stroker, and a T5z transmission. If anybody wants to see more pictures of the 48, my 29 and my 46 click on the picture I posted and it will take you to my photobucket account.
