i'm learnin and want to learn more, i'm new
well ever since i can remember i've loves camaros and montes, come to think of it i love american muscle period. I've owned a 77 grand prix (400 ci.) and two montes with a 305 79 and 81. I bought the gp from a neighbor the body was not in the best shape but the engine was so much torque, and my 81 monte was ugly but had one of the meanest 305's ever thanks to my stepdad. My stepfather was the guy always fixed them for me and showed me what to do, I'll admit i'm a novice when it comes to the hardcore in depth engine stuff but i want to learn. I just recently bought a 1969 camaro ss, i still cant believe i own it. They have always been my fav car, but they are so exspensive seeing that i'm 20 years old. The body is perfect and straight covered in firetruck engine red with dual whit racing stripes, it is not the original color, while doing slectrical work i noticed parts inside the car were blue. It has a 350/350th, 10 bolt, no posi , and runs 318 at the wheels dynoed. But I have been breathing nothing but info in lately as to see what i will do with it. Of course change out the rear end, make it manual since it is auto, and drop a bigger engine in, 427, 454, or the beastly 502. It will take a while to get to that point but i want to plan out what i am going to do. I want to make it a 11sec weekend warrior street car. Oh and i'm in the navy so i go out alot to sea so that is how i am able to save up money. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I just want my car to live up to what it is a camaro ss.Dreams cost money, but they are worth it, do it right the first time.

well i have some but regular photo(i have no access to a scanner) i will be putting some up real shortly hopefully by the end of the week, beacuse i go out to sea tommmorow until friday, thats when i'll post.
Hopefully i do, on the engine i had a friend also suggest just to stick with the 350 and stroke and bore it. Cool i take it you have a second gen, between the split bumper and the 69 is a tuffy for me, i love them both.Dreams cost money, but they are worth it, do it right the first time.
