New Member from Australia
Hi Hot Rod Members, while searching the net for designs of a Duvall windscreen l stumbled across a thread on how to build my own one . So I joined the Club to view it , it has given me the ideas I need to create my own , which is awesome. I have a 1926 Chev Tourer which has been chopped to a 2 door , which will have a tub on the back . I have been at it for around 2 years and have completed all the chassis work , suspension , engine and trans, all the brakes are completed . The body is almost ready for some paint , then assembly can start . The rolling chassis has been engineered and passed inspection .It is a 350 Chev and turbo 350 trans Holden HT front end HQ disc brakes , Commodoore Diff ,heavy duty reset leaf springs and Disc brake rear . The motor purrs like a kitten and I fitted side pipes , which will sit behind the running boards . The body was just the skins when I started , so I have made all the frame and floor , converted it to suicide doors , new flat firewall with a huge Chev Bow tie embossed into it . I am a Diesel Mechanic by trade and I am enjoying my project and of coarse sometimes it's good to have a break from it every so often . Thanks Paul Freeman.😀😀😀😀😀

Welcome Paul to the family here, I've been a member for a number of years and the knowledge and friendly attitude found here is absolutely brilliant. So welcome and enjoy and as with any hot rod site the more involved you are the more you can gain from it so, please, don't be shy. Oh we love photo's too but understand that you have to post a small amount of times before you can load photos.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Ozzie ozzie ozzie! Oy oy oy!
Welcome to CHR mate from across the ditch.
The Duval windscreen thread you found was done ten or eleven years ago by Brian Rupnow, who unfortunately no longer frequents this forum.
If there's other similar type of projects you're looking for, a forum search could very well turn up what you need.
There's a lot of information on here!
Hope you stay and join in the fun!johnboy

Welcome to CHR!.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Welcome to the forum. There are several non-car sites that Brian is a regular on. If you need to contact him, send me a PM and I'll give you some places to look.
I have a lot of respect for our fellow rodders down under. The regulations you have to deal with are pretty tough. Best of luck.

Welcome to CHR Paul! It definitely sounds like you are building a very sweet ride. I'd love to see some pics as well. I had an old friend that went to Australia to work on semi tractors and I haven't heard from since. He either loved it there or moved on.Ryan
