    1941 chevrolet extended cab pickup is it factory built

     



    I just bought this truck in Washington state .Previous owner says it was built by chevrolet for army he said it was 1 of 5 built and the other 4 were destroyed making it one of 1 do you guys know how i can confirm this the body tag is missing i cant find a vin # on the truck but has vin on title i cant figure out how to add pictures

    this site's image uploader can be tricky but [IMG] code works if you have the photos online.

    Without the pictures, I'll say unlikely. Military did use Suburbans and panel vans, not really pickup trucks all that much ( larger trucks yes of course ) But any people moving would be done in a larger truck in the back or a Suburban

    GM used to make special trucks for the railroad. I'm not sure about that far back. I have a list of serial # starting numbers if they would help.for 41
