That's a pretty slick idea with the magnets.

Very nice work! I was just thinking about how I still had to install my filler neck and tail lights into my glass rear fenders. I have been trying to find some sort of way to do a flush type cap for it and add a vent to the tank. One of the worst things I hated about my 40 was the gas would get hot and expand when full. Then the gas would run up the fill tube and down the fender. Which ate the clear and base one time and streaked it bad. It sure ticked me off.

Nice work adding all the little bits. On your bear claw latch on the hood. How will it release? Like stock or with a cable?

I wanted to keep the filler neck the way they came, that combined with the coupe tail lights reminds me of being a young boy looking at dads car. I will also have some small round taillight/ turn signals in the bed rolls, all LED. My filler neck is new so it has a vent tube, hopefully all is good there.

I have a Lokar hood release that will mount about where the original hand brake was, since I have the dual master cylinder and pedal I don't have room for the hand brake, using a electronic push button system instead.

My brother had a day of doing some maintenance on my uncles daily Studebaker so he can drive it to the Southern end of Utah and back here soon so no work on my truck this weekend. Also overtime and out of state car shows will give us many more weekends away from the build but that is okay, helps with the burnout doing other things.

My brother made and mounted a fan mount for the radiator.

You can see here how much clearance I have between the back of the radiator and the serpentine kit.

Started building the mounting for the battery box which will be mounted to the frame under the passenger side fender, you can see the green tape on the frame here. Didn't get finished with that today though.

No truck progress, maybe a little bit tomorrow, still working on the battery box mounting.

Here's the wagon at the Boise Roadster Show last weekend.
