I was thinking of trying to do my own carpet using this stuff:

    https://www.installerstore.com/Insta...nding-Tan.html

I thought that might be what you did. Question would be how it would hold up without stitching.

Good question, I have no idea.

I've taken many pics of others and the truck itself, needed to add another with my shit eating grin.

Some console building going on, more like a raceway for hiding wiring and such.

While they where woodworking I put my park brake and mufflers back on.

Very nice console and I like your park brake setup. Eventually I would like to go to that. For now, I'll let the ground hold mine.

Back to the console, I'm actually thinking of putting my fuse box in my console. I'm so tired of laying on the floor between the seat and lower a pillar looking up checking fuses and wiring. I'd rather open a cover and look some what down and have access to it all.

Yes, I regret putting my fuse box under the dash in an awkward to see place. Hind site is 20/20.

I don't think my fuses should be too difficult to access, the console is more of a wire raceway than anything. Here is a preview of the upholstery, all the upper panels are sheet metal and removable so I have access to all the wiring and shifter. The panel between the seats will have a switch for the cutouts and three buttons, high beams, park brake and overdrive, the back of the console also has cigarette lighter plug and USB plug. I will be putting an amp and a digital media player under the passenger seat powering two 6.5" kicks up front, two 4x10" in the cab corners and an 8" square subwoofer between the seats.

It looks really nice. I should do something like that for my 53. We have a cheap Wall Mart cup holder in it now. Yours looks better
