Hello all
Hi, i just found this cool forum so i decided to register...
I live in Ushuaia, Argentina (although i'm in Buenos Aires until July now).
My car is a '66 Chevy II SS Coupe that i'm in the process of rebuilding (a friend gave it to me for free, it was in real bad shape!!), these cars are readily available over there, but here they are scarce, i've never seen one here, but i know of one for sure that there's at least one or two more in the country.
This is the stuff i've done so far:
Complete disassembly and bead blasting of frame
Cutted off complete floor, made a flat floor with many improvements and sub-frame connectors
Added a complete Heidt's front-end
Converted rear end to full floating axles (used for racing here) and added disc brakes.
The original engine (bare block) is a 283 w/Muncie M-20 trans, i also have a 454 block laying around so my plan is to instal either the BB using a 427 crank or drop the 283 with a twin turbo setup, will start a thread with that one!!

Welcome to CHR Chevytu. Sounds like you have a nice project in the works. I like the idea of the 454 though. Be sure to post some pics!Mike Casella
