Just a quick one to say Hi. I am from Australia and am interested in Holdens, yse the guys who make the Monaro. Have SS commodore at he moment, has a LS1 chev motor with 6 speed, very fast and comfortable. Have dropped into the site a bit and enjoy the info especially the tech stuff. Am looking into doing up a holden one toner as we call them down hear. It is a ute but from the cab back is a flat tray, not quite as big as the "pickups" you guys have in the US, but plenty of room chevy engines 350 to 454, nice strong chassis, and nice and light (about 1400kg).

Am still looking for the right starting point at the moment. Motor is probably a fuel injected 308 (local) or LS1, outstanding power numbers with good fuel economy. Out in the bush we are paying AU$1.20 a litre for Unleaded fuel.

Anyway keep up the good work, will catch you later.

Welcome aboard JL350. I think you'll enjoy it here in the forums.

I enjoyed visiting your fair country in the late 70's when I was on board the USS Midway. Saw Perth and some of the surrounding area. Nice country. (Nice sheila's too)

    Take care.
