Yet another new member
Hey
Well, as title suggests, I am yet another new member. I live in Ontario, Canada in a lil known place called Dunrobin.
I currently own a 1990 Maxima...and this is why I have come here. Various Maxima forum's have shunned me due to the fact that I AM going to convert this to a RWD car. I plan on using a Buick 3.8L engine (T/A Performance has an Al version of the GN block, with sleeves boreable up to 4.00"). I am handy with the welder, and can design pretty decently. However, I came here for input on changing a FWD car to a RWD, as well as frame building and such...

I like this site already  All the Maxima forums I went to gave me shit for asking about this
Anyways, the screen name is something my dad came up with when I was MUCH younger....we had a brand new Pentium 450MHz puter....and the internet! Asked me what I wanted my email name to be...he said something stupid and I laughed...so he thought me laughing was what he wanted as a name

Whatever works...at least we know you always have a smile on your face !
Smile...it makes people wonder what you're up to...
You don't have to worry much about anybody givin' you grief for your choice of projects...we all do our own thing here, and help out each other where we can.
Of course, you will have to watch out for the thread-jackers...they're sneaky little buggers!

I 99% of the time have a smile...it helps with either a) putting people at ease or b) scaring the shit out of them...depends on the situation....
Oh, and I occasionally threadjack...

Just for a welcome comment I remember in Ripley's Believe It or Not a story about the person who was supposed to deliver the name chosen by the Town Council for their new town, but he was whistling a song popular in it's day when he came to the Statehouse and the clerk asked him the name of it and he said Bangor (he meaning the name of the song and the clerk meaning the town). So HeHeHeHe fits that kind of situation. My only car comment is that I do not know what a Maxima is but I recall from my MG midget days that it had the same engine as the first Cooper Mini, but that the rear wheel drive Midget accelerated better than the front wheel drive Mini. Thus you should expect better acceleration with the RWD and of course the V6 can be souped up to well over 250 H.P. Maybe when you get it installed you will have a "Six Bangor"?

Nissan Maxima ("IMPORT!" sneers everyone) I have an older one (1990) and there's something about the looks....I thought Camaro originally, but I live in Canada, so our seasons are as follows: winter, winter, summer, winter  Also too expensive with insurance...
