New to the board
New to the board and wanted to throw a quick post out. I have a 1972 Pontiac Ventra "Sprint" edition, thats been sitting in my dads garage for 20 years (been in my family since 74). Now the modding begins. It is no where close stock, so I am going to be changing out some stuff. I have all the original parts, I just took them all off for paint.

Right now it has a 350 from a 68 GTO, but it has some hard miles on it (still runs fine). I have a 400 block just begging to get built up, but I want to tie the frame rails together first. As far as the body it will stay the same. I plan to paint it a metallic blue (maybe with 2 white racing stripes), and a nice set of chrome wheels. The interior is going to stay the somewhat the same, but I am going to replace the gauge pod area with a new one that has autometer gauges. Disk brakes in the front, and a new suspension package. Thats all thats on the agenda for now, but I am sure more things will be added.

Nice looking car. My buddy had one and it was a neat looking vehicle. I like the idea on keeping it mostly stock.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
