An introduction from a Newby.
Hey guys. I've recently found this site, and thougth I'd let you know who's been lurking in the bushes. My name is Billy, and I'm from Fort Worth, Texas. I have a 1966 F100 that is my daily driver, and a 1962 Galaxie 500 that is my weekend show transportation. I have a 1965 Custom 500 that is my next project. I'm really interested in learning about a traditional hot rod, so I'll be picking some of your brains. Turns out there's a lot to learn about this new-to-me direction of hot roding. I know most are tired of the term "rat rod" but the concept of run-what-cha'-brung and build it on the cheap with a realistic budget is what I find appealing. I guess I'm fast becoming one of the "old farts" we used to make fun of "in the day!"
Thanks for letting me hang out. I'll try to attach some pics.

Welcome aboard, Billy. That's one sharp looking Galazie. I used to have one in the late 80's. Was Sand Stone Corral in color. I like your color scheme a lotttttt better.Duane S
