one of my friends who is working on getting a custom body shop going has been playing around a lot with the Mirra-Chrome. In his opinion, he loves the way it looks. There is a ghost chome also, which looks like chrome with a black tint over it. The mirra chrome in my opinion is not worth the money at all. It looks like a bright, high metallic silver, only there is a slight reflection to it. The process of spraying black base, clear, wetsand, buff, mist the chrome on, wait a week, then clear the chrome, isnt worth it when you could just spray a silver base and get virtually the same outcome. I personally wouldnt waste my money on it, it looks way too fake!! just my 2 cents worth!!

Chrome Paint Nightmares
It is a Paint in the arse.... You must use Alsa's Clear Coat. Urethanes dull out the look. It does work, but too expensive for complete vehicle use. Have seen it used on pieces and stripes, but in all reallity, it looks wavy at best due to application via spray gun. Even Alsa'a Mitsu 3000 GT looked wavy at SEMA in 04. Any other info, write back....

Those chrome cars at SEMA looked like something that an Arkansas clap doctor would drive (sorry Kenny). The chrome paint looks good on smaller items and on bike parts. The guys that apply it that are posting give an interesting perspective on what is good and what is bad.
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
