If you make that '54 Chevy any more black it will look like you are preparing it for sale in Lancaster Penna. Most of you know there are Amish farmers in Penna. and Ohio who will not use any motorized vehicles and have those cute black buggies that are required by Penna. law to have battery powered tail lights, but are you aware there are other religious groups that allow mechanization except it must be painted ALL Black including ALL chrome. It is interesting that you are coming around to that style when in the mid '50s you would have seen all black Chevies in Penna. and Ohio! Just a passing comment.

Haha I heard something about those people but never knew about their vehicles. Also I thought they wore all white but I guess I got it mixed up. Here is a pic of something I am thinking of... I cannot make up my mind, I have the fender skirts for it and thought about plain chrome steelies and wide whites but then also like this style in this pic I am about to post...www.streamlineautocare.com

The first one is the one I like without skirts but with Radir Tri Ribs I'd like for wheels and the second one I like for more of a 50's custom. I am going to weld in the upper grill bar and paint it black since the original one is pitted up and no money for a nice chrome one.www.streamlineautocare.com

Your 54 Chevy??
HellCaminoKid,... is thaty your ride,.. the 54 Chevy , one page back?//...
Kool ride......
Using photoshop, ( or any photo realist/ or service professional,...), allows for a pre-visual of any paint scheme. save time, money and puts all parties on the same page. This 11 x 17 mock up of rhe ' before image ', really brought home the commication with my painter. FYI, it took him 2 days to order the paint because he disagreed with my paint choices, He did call several times, to say customers in his shop , were blown away by the richness of the metalflake gold, & silver againts the black.
he confided that when his wife, said it was ' hot ' did he finally come around., It reaaly grew on him, and he was reallyu glad he ' got to show his stuff '...
photoshop allowed us to really jive ,... an the results show.....
FYI... Good thread, bTW...
