Pressure Drop
Hi,
Anytime I try to run an air filter/regulator on my compressor, the pressure starts dropping when I test it to see if it will drop. The first air filter that I used was a Sharpe F88 (http://www.sharpe1.com/filters.htm).
It will hold up for about 30secs then start dropping. When I bypass the f88 and just leave the inline air filter on the gun, it will not drop and hold steady for minutes on end. I also bought a different air filter with a regulator with the same results.
The gun I'm using is a Sharpe Platinum LV, air requirements are low for this gun. I think somewhere around 4cfm@40-50psi. My compressor is a 21gallon, 3.3scfm@90psi and 8.8@40psi.
Thanks!

Probably a bigger tank to get more volume. You could use a bigger compressor. I use a 2 stage with an 80 gallon tank, and an extra 60 gallon tank added in for more volume.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
