Josh, do they have gloss colors in that Dupont paint and how cheap is it... I am actually trying to stay AWAY from flat to tell you the truth. I just seemed to find the JD BB flat paint was cheap and thought that I will have to just deal with it... That was until I went to the local JD dealer and they have gloss black and on hotrodders.com a guy on there has a hot rod painted with the high gloss JD paint and he said it is the best 35 bucks just on paint he has ever spent and that it's not fading at all, really hard to scratch and looks really good as long as the body work is done correct of course.... So now I am so far with that color but until then I don't know... I would love to two tone the truck with silver on top and black on bottom or visa versa, seems to give it a more lowered look or not as tall of a roof, etc if you know what I mean.

If you are going to two-tone it I would use dupont 99k black base and a silver of a newer Honda. These silvers have a chrome look when next to black. Using basecoat would save you a lot of time and there would be no edges. The downside is the cost. Black base $35.00 a Qt., Silver base $55.00 a Qt., Reducer $40.00 a gal., And $200.00 fo clear. If you wanted something really different, Use flat black with gloss silver. You could even run a white pinstripe on the two-tone line.
