You might take a look here and see if these are in your price range.
    Devilbis...Accuspray....Sata.....Geo.......Iwatta are excellent guns !

They are not cheap by any means but knowing you have a good quality gun that will always work and be ready to use with no problems is always a plus. That is if you clean them right .

I have 2 Accusprays that are 14 years old and in use everyday all day , I just have to replace the Needle tip, and Air Cap every 6 months to a year.
I also use a Iwatta LVLP for clear and is 2 years old

There are cheaper guns for sure but having quality tools makes the job easier.

Hey Spray Tech, have you had a chance to try out the Sata Digital??? I keep looking at them, but I've always been a sucker for bells and whistles anyway. Thanks for the Accuspray information, got to look at them. I think the Ranchero and the Coupe might require a painter far better than I. Interested???

Hey Dave, I have tried the digital SATA and didnt much care fot it , on the 3rd day of the demo the digital readout quit .......LOL

If you want a gun the will flat lay clear try that Iwatta LVLP 400 , geeze that thing is wounderful .

The thing is , the Sata has a biger gun body and I have smaller hands and I think thats why I never cared for them , they never felt real comfortable in the hand when spraying . The Walcom Geo and Iwata have thinner and smaller gun bodies and feel better balanced to me , same with the Acuuspray even though its a tad bigger.

Stta is suppose to have a new LVLP- low volume low pressuer gun now , never tried it as I already bought the Iwata

Sure I will be glad to come spray that ranchy,
Think ya can afford me ? ..........LOL You do want to retire some day dont you

Heck Spray, thought I would just drop off the Ranchero, bring the coupe back.......

In the past, I've had a couple of cars done in House of Kolor Cobalt Blue (one on a gold base, one on a silver base). I'm I just showing my age and hi mileage or does someone have something out that will render that deep of a color???? Had it on a '65 Fastback, it was beyond gorgeous and a shine a mile deep.,,,,We just won't talk about what the materials cost.........

hey dave , try the new HOK Shimrin Kandy Base .....Its a new base that isnt a Tri - Stage like a true kandy, I have sprayed a little and works great.
Still has that fall in a bucket of water depth you like

I dont think you would want me to paint it , as I just may roll that Kandy on ..........

Denny, You can use your old guns with good results , You just waste alot of color in the air because of they high pressures you need to opperate the guns . But the new guns are quite hing and can understand why you still use the Binks .
I used to use a Matson Autom-izer IQ that just sipped paint , I could spray a regular cab pick up complete outside + the bed with 3 quarts sprayable color , Thats 3 solid coats too. I wore that sucker out ,was rebuilt 3 times and it doesnt work so well now .
They do make a top loader gun kit that comes with a clear unit and a base color unit , sweet guns for sure.

Thanks Spray, got to check it out. Cobalt blue with white Shelby stripes is kind of the direction I'm looking on the Ranchero now..... Still a long time til paint, though.

hey denny , is that 3 quarts Un mixed or mixed ready to spray color ? And I ment Single stage , not base . I shot alot of the GM pealer white trucks with single stage with the ol mattson.

If ready mixed SS 3 quarts with the binks is something else , sounds like you found the Key !

Yea and there have been a few cars I would of rather used a S&W on , instead of the standard spray gun !
