What's the process?
I got my '69 Chevelle sanded down to bare metal with some small spots of paint here and there. I need to know what to use to seal it now.
1. What do I use as a sealer?
2. Do I do the body filler on bare metal or over the sealer?
3. How many coats of sealer before I can go to buildable/sandable primer?
Any help is appreciated...RAY

This is an old topic here and you will get a lot of answers.
Epoxy primer
Filler (of your choice) I like Tack Free, Rage, Clear Coat
2K Primer Surfacer
Sand reprime
Sealer
Paint
This is a condensed version, Some of the old threads go into detail. Hope it will get you started.

Has anyone used rust bullet? I am wanting to spray my whole car with the rust bullet, then filler, then one more coat of rust bullet, then high build primer and paint and clear. Will that work?RAY
