    Question scuff and paint or not

     



    my car is white and faded I've finished chasis ,motor,rear,etc... i'm sure i am staying white not confident with completely stripping body or can i scuff + paint but still look good . the car has only one half dollar sized surface rust spot that i had osphoed when i got the car not very noticeable any opinions app.... glad to be back online!!!!!! :whacked

    Generally, if the old paint is not peeling, cracking or blistering, you can paint over it. The "rule" I grew up with is that you never stack more than three paintjobs, but three is not a good idea for dark colors, or show quality work.
