tin canning
i have a door that has a dent in it. when i touch the panel next to it, it goes away and puts one where i touched. i think this is refered to as tin can effect. do i heat it slightly with a propane torch and then quench with ice?

dents are about 12 inches apiece, what would be a safe size to start with, i have never tried this, i remember seeing my Dad years ago getting it red then working toward the middle with hammer and dolly. but havent tried that either.
