The dots in the TIG weld are the result of a contaminated weld. The contamination can be caused by several different things. Not enough gas to protect the weld, dirty or rusty metal, contaminated filler rod, etc. And yes I've had all the above happen to me @ one time or another. TIG likes a clean surface & a clean environment. Sorta' the same as paint."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

Yup exactly. Any contamination or anything and the government wouldn't take it, even something that small. Very picky and they want it right on time. Usually the deadlines are QUICK!www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
