yes it can be buffed it is a modified acrylic but i think it is more like ppg druathane spelled wrong . polyesterpolyurethanes and i have buff it .imron was the deal way back when i start to paint but all the paints have gone to urethanes and all the buffing compounds have been getting better to work with rubbery type of paint do a panle at a time i would work up with sand paper to 1500 or 2000 and do not get to of corse of rubbing compond try 3m finesse with a wool wheel hi plie at a low speed and see if that works for you if not go to a fine compond like3m machine rubbing compond and then go back to finesse i would do it soon .
