have try it is ok i think mothers and meguiars still are at the top wizards and race glaze are about the same i think? a paint store near you may have it or go on line see if you can buy some or they will give you a address for someone near you .over the years i know i have spent many $100.s trying new things but the mother meguiars and ebony i think still work very good any thing will work but there is no short cuts on a black paint job

I like Adam's Polishes. I go over the car with a claybar and detail spray, then detail spray and revive polish using a Porter Cable 7424 polisher, next detail spray with some butter wax and a little swirl remover with 7424, then I put on the glaze by hand. Works good for me.

Here's an old trick for removing the haze left by some waxes. I used it on Simoniz paste wax, which was notoriously hard to buff off.

Put about a cup of corn starch in an old sock. After wax dries to a haze, smack the sock on the surface of the car a few times - enough to leave just a little corn starch on the surface - then wipe off the haze. The corn starch is abrasive enough to remove the haze, but it won't scratch the car.

GREAT STUFF!!! soo easy to use, comes right back off with a good microfiber towel... rained on the car the next day but after it dried you would have never known... Smells good too... haha

I use 3M ultra-fina as the last step..im not sure what the part number is, but its a newer product. You will never get it to look as good by polishing it by hand. use ultra fina and run the buffer really slow. there is also a special foam pad to use with this product. I usually use a rough cut compound with a wool pad, then the same compound with a foam pad, then go over it twice with normal glaze and a foam pad, then the ultra fina. i found that meguiars has a lot of silicone in it,,,so it will only look good for a little while.

I've used them all, and I feel that Wizards is the best. Its Mist-N-Shine product definitely gave me some noticeable improvement over Meguiars and Mothers. I don't have black, but have a friend that does, and he won't use anything else. His paint is absolutely beautiful. I buy mine at Carquest Paint Center. You an also buy it direct from Wizard......www.wizardsproducts.com

this isnt the best of pictures, but it has some pretty good light on it. there was absolutely no swirls or scratches of any kind under any light. it took countless hours to get to that point, and trying a ton of different products...but it was worth it.

during the buffing process i always wipe the panels off with rubbing alcohol to make sure all the compound is gone so im looking at what the paint actually looks like without anything filling scratches in, and i always find that with meguiars, it never looks as good after its wiped off....which to me, means that something is filling scratches more. im not saying i didnt like using it..i loved how it worked, but didnt like that part of it. maybe its not silicone, but there's something in it that fills.

Realize this is like asking someone what wheels are best for your car.

But it's also nice to know what other people are having luck with...most of the time it seems like more of a science trying to get paint to actually look good.
