I can name that paint in 3 sprays.......

This 34 was at the car show yesterday and the more I thought about it the more I liked it. I have always wanted to re-paint my car the brightest white possible, but now I'm strongly considering silver. Would anyone possibly have any idea what silver this is? The owner of this car lives several counties away and I probally won't see him again til next year at this show.

A few years ago GM had a silver that looked very light and "pearly". It didn't have that gray look that many silvers have when they aren't lit up. You might check it out.

You might also check Mercedes, while several of their silvers are like HRP described, they've also had a bright silver. Somewhere in the back of my memory the word platinum fits in there.

Yeah I believe you are right......look at the 2004 winners at "Mike Wet Willy" 1932 Ford. What are we talking about when it comes to price?

The only dealer of HOK paint in the entire state of WV just happens to be about 2 miles from my house. I went there and they have a pic of the above 32 with the name of the paint and it is Orin Silver. According to the sales person it is a 1 stage paint and it is $169 a gallon. The said that ONE gallon would paint my car, because it can be turned into TWO. Is this true?

that is true because by the time you add the recomended reducer & hardener it will be about 2 gallons worth of paint..if you go this route..i would ask your HOK supplier if there is a recomended primer/sealer for that paint to have easy color coverage....169.00 a gallon aint a bad price at all for any HOK paint

Your car looks great. I think I'm gonna mimic the car in my first post and paint the car Orion Silver and put a black rag top on the roof.
