over sprayed!!!
is there any way to get paint off of plastic the peson who painted my car before i got it painted every thing but glass including half of the tail lights is there a way to get it off with out destoying the taillights ?

You can try using 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner part#08984, it works but becarefull cause using to much at a time will fog the plastic. If you decide to try this I would suggest using it in a small area that may not be seen.
You can get it at your local NAPA.

Use some polishing compound or, if it's really bad, you can wet sand the tail lights with some 600 or 800 grit/wet and then clear coat them. I imagine a good polish like BlueMagic would take the overspray off without a lot of fuss.

Try alcohol to not harm the plastic, some fresh paint will start to soften after you rub awhile. Wet sand will work and buff out.

I would check the price of new ones,my truck headlightes are $ 9.99 a piece and the tail lightes are $ 7.50 a piece.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
