You should go to your PPG dealer to look at color charts. PPG may have a custom color, or the factories have used what is sometimes called "tint coat clears, which will show both a base color code, and the tint coat code.
Candy paint jobs can be the most difficult. If you have not shot candy before, I would recommend you use a colored basecoat. If you use a light base, like silver or gold, you will see any difference in the thickness of the candy coats. This will make it look "splotchy". A reflective blue base will help to hide the differences. Look at House Of Kolor charts to see what the different colors would look like over each basecoat.
You will have to paint the jams seperately from the car, then mask them off, before closing the car up. You will have to paint the car by walking the entire length on each pass.
Your first coat will look the worst, but as you continue to add coats, the color will start to even out. Just concentrate on your spray patterns, keeping the distance, speed and overlap consistant.
Good luck. It scares me, even after 40 years of painting.
If this all sounds like too much...look at the Dodge truck color called "Intense Blue Pearl".
