    masking paper/tape rack

Have any of you used one of the harbor freight or other suppliers masking paper and tape dispenser. I am starting to paint more often, and I am awful slow at attaching tape to masking paper, seems one of the dispensers would be a real time saver. Are they any good. As always thanks for the advice.

I use a rack that holds 6, 12, and 24 inch paper. I can't even imagine working without it.

If you work for others, spread out the cost of the rack as labor. It will not actually cost them anything as it saves time.

Same thing goes for an HVLP gun, as it will save materials. A couple good jobs will pay for the gun.

I've never bought one of the HF ones, but have looked at them. The concept is pretty basic, and it may not be SnapOn quality, but seem to be fine. All of them are simply a rack that aligns tape with paper so that when you pull them off they self-adhere.

I agree that they make the work easier, we used them at the body shop constantly. I think the HF one is good for the money, and may pickup one myself now that you have reminded me.
