Do a search on the online Yellow Pages and get a list of a couple and go to the shops and talk with the owners. Look around at the shop and see how clean it is, look at their paint jobs and materials in the mixing room if they let you, or pretend your looking at the booth and just eye over at the materials. Reason for this is to make sure they aren't using 50 different brands of materials to do your car (cheap ones especially). I have worked at a place that did this and used cheap primer from Transtar, Sherin Williams (sp), PPG, etc then used cheaper omni basecoat or even DBC and then cheap Keystone or Transtar clear on top of it. Now even though it came out very nice, it still wont last as long, wont hold up and turn cloudy or just fade out in the sun after a few years and last and most importantly, it wasn't what the customer paid for! If you get charged for expensive materials then be sure that is what your getting.
Sorry I can't give an exact location on where to go, I did live there most of my life but can't remember any shops off the top of my head.www.streamlineautocare.com
