awesome. there was about 3 paint jobs on it, and i stripped it down to what seemed to be the orignal primer, because it stuck so damn good, but then i noticed it was cracking in some places, and found it it was way too brittle. that's when i had the other dip shit stirp it to the bare rubber, thinking it should be a pretty simple task,,,but of course it got fucked up,,now there are indents all over it. the whole car is getting sealed with dp 90, so i was going to use that under and over the k36. ill do what you said, makes perfect sense! right now about half the car is wet sanded in 400 ready for sealer, it's about time i quit putting off fixing the front end!
