    rolling paint on

have any of you tried the roll on paint process where u use a 4" roller & foam brush? i am going to try it for a primer coat. i have seen pictures & read about
it on interent. takes a good bit of curing time & sanding time but materials
are cheap. i saw a 62-63 falcon that had been done & it looked pretty good.

I've seen it done and was surprised. with enough thin coats and a lot of elbow grease it looker fairly decent. think my buddy had like 3 or 4 times the hand work of a spray job but price was right. he used thinned rustoleum.

rolling the primer on works on one off glass parts were you may have some pining were you can wet flow them in .with a two part filler primer with a roller they can be hard to fill with a glaze filler .at one of the boby shops i work at we would use a brush on some heavy pitted spots in door jams or seams
