I must be missing something. I don't see the 99 dollar price tag. Are you thinking of buying your own power coating system? That would be considerably more than 99 bux.

I don't know how the heck I put the wrong link in but, heres the right one http://eastwood.com/itemdy01.asp?Dep...1.x=56&I1.y=67 I saw a DIY powder coating kit that Speed channel was advertising that was from Eastwood so, I checked it out and this is what I came up with. It's regurarly 129 but they marked it down for a month or so probably.

I can get an oven, my grandpa has one he would sell, it's peach in color but, it will work. If I get it and it works, I'll let you know but, I don't know how much more money I will get b4 Hunter lays me off for the year it will be around 1900 if I'm lucky enough to make it to the last open weekend, I do have to buy a spray gun along with the parts I need for the truck and, money may be tight. I agree with the cookies

    HINT!!

Not to undercut Eastwood, because, from a marketing perspective, they're doing a good thing for the hobby in gathering the items they sell in one place and presenting it as a package for making it easy on folks who don't have certain backgrounds.

However, you could go to a local commercial auto body supply store (the ones that mainly supply body shops, but also sell to the general public) and buy just about any of the tools and supplies that apply to body work for about 1/3 less, and have it quicker most of the time. The powder coating system happens NOT to be one of those items, but about 2/3 of their catalog is.
