    350 for sale (policepak)

I want to buy a '90 Chevy stab bars and diff, but the guy wants to sell me the whole car.

Except for the parts just mentionned, would anyone be interested in buying the rest of the car?
Motor: 350, 200 000Km, runs good (if not for the parts that i want, you could drive it...)

If any interests, i could get all the serial # and all.

The one who buys needs to come close to Montreal (south shore) to pick it up.

Are you nuts? Your parasienne has a 305 and your passing up a 350 PI engine, it will bolt in place of the 305. If your just getting the diff because it's posi, it ain't gonna make a diffrence with that 305, you'll need the 350 to make use of it.

    No nuts here!

There are many ways to make a 305 work pretty good, up to 345hp, and for my use (daily driver) that is plenty!

And, 305s have great low end torque, even if many don't think so, it dosen't matter, they still do!

But i know that what i'm saying is not popular on this kind of site.

    Good day!

You can make your 305 run 345 with a compleate rebuild, that PI 350 makes right around 300 the way it is, your 305, 145 stock ( if it's an EFI, it's less with a carb ). I'm not saying a 305 isn't a bad motor for a daily driver but, your obviously wanting some go power cause you want a posi diff from a caprice cop car. Add up all the compenents too make the 305 run at least 300HP with no question, then weigh the cost with that and the 350. I'm not saying it's not feasable to get 300 out of a 305 with no question, but it would cost more than your '83 parasienne is worth, the 350 arleady being a high HP model, is a more logical choice. The main diffrence between a 350 and a 305 is the bore, the stroke is the same, which gives you the low end grunt that you are talking about.
