Looking to trade or sell
I have (2) TH400`s (1) was overhauled apprx. 10,000 mi ago and the other was in a 69 C20 came out running strong.
67 396 325HP never been machined and is within .008 of stock.
steel crank and 8 matching rods and 7 matching pistons and 1 odd.
SBC Edelbrock Performer intake used, could use some cleaning.
67 283 and Powerglide just removed from chevelle should have the cam replaced but other than that everything works and is in decent cond.
Accel Super Coil.
I`d prefer to trade for a TH350, set of good mid-range heads,
3:73 or 4:11 gears for 10 bolt, Disc brake conversion parts, B&M
Mega shifter for TH350 or let me know what 67 Chevelle parts you might have, otherwise no reasonable offer will be turned down. Thanks
Keith

Why would you want to trade a TH400 for a TH350? I have 2 TH350's they both need to be rebuild. I also have a 4L60E That I would be willing to work something out.Chevys for life

Well if he is building a small block combination, you are much better off with a turbo 350, turbo 400's will eat up power from Small Blocks making mid-range power. The guts of the turbo 400 are much heavier, and this can eat up to 60-70 hp from a small block, where as with a big block because the engine has a larger rotating mass, it equals out causing less horsepower loss through out the drivetrain. Turbo 350 guts are a lot lighter, but are still quite strong, and in turn may only suck 4-7 horsepower from the engine.
