Some states can be hard enough to find for a given year, let alone a specific county. Go check out Ebay or do a search for Nebraska licence plates.---Tom

gassersrule 196....I have a number of the 63-66 base year plates but the problem is that they were used well into the 1980s and have the later year stickers...Without having a single sticker for a certain year makes them pretty much shop wall decor......After all these years I have never hit on a WASH 63 with no sticker for a later year.....Al..The cylinders have to be inline.!!!

DHOTROD.....I see Dave's California License Plates % Dave Hindman at Davesclp@aol.com has restored plates including 1931... Gassersrule......removing the stickers leaves an imprint in the paint that ruins the overall appearance... They are shop wall decor...There is a rumor someone in California is making repo stickers.???.....
Another SoCal rumor...Skookum !!!!... Brought to you from the shores of Suquamish Washington......The gateway to Seattle...The cylinders have to be inline.!!!

DHOTROD, remember that plates in California need to be 'clear', or unregistered on another vehicle. You'll also need to make sure you have both the front and rear plates. Not that they enforce it, but California, technically, doesn't allow the plates to be repainted. Have the car registered before having them restored.---Tom

Like...DUH....The guys around here want neat old plates that look good.....besides no one has found a restorer in this neck of the woods that I have heard of...My tri six Chevys (Cars and trucks) don't look like a million bucks but are nice looking and the YOM plates they wear are also nice looking with no imprints of stickers...Until they find their way to a restorer they are....wall decor...And thats all I got to say about that........Skookum.!!!The cylinders have to be inline.!!!
