427 NASCAR/GT40 Sidewinder intake
Original factory Ford Sidewinder NASCAR/LeMans intake. This is the superspeedway intake used in the Sixties on the NASCAR 427 side-oilers and road-race GT40s with the FE screamer. Rare as hell! Factory part number for 1966. This intake has also had a couple of minor repairs, and was modified by some long-forgotten race team for super-high-lift cams (pushrod clearance), minor port matching, and the venerable "Vanke" mod where part of the plenum divider is removed to allow crossflow at high RPM. Repairs were done professionally with a TIG welder and again hand-ground to near invisibility (you gotta get real close to see it). Modifications are invisible once installed on an engine and can only improve the performance of this impressive piece of history. You might never see another one, much less get the chance to own it.

What casting number is on the intake? There were a few differnet numbers for the sidewinder.
