sombody wanting a restoration, having a car with a 216 in need of rebuild, will statch a good runner up quick. they can easilly surpass $3,000 for a stock rebuild done right, the way they were built, with poured bearings, is becoming a thing of the past, for rebuilders to deal with, so the people who do, are going to charge you good.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
