Hey all, been a really long time since I've been around...school is eating my bank account alive and I'm needing to sell somethings because school is the most important thing right now in my life. The hot rods can come later.

    Here's what I've got:
4 bolt 400 block, brass freeze plugs, freshly decked
NEW Scat Series 9000 cast Steel 3.5" stroke, 400 main journal crankshaft
    NEW 4340 steel H-Beam Rods
NEW Probe Sportsman Race Series FORGED Pistons
    NEW Mahle Chrome-Moly rings
    NEW Clevite Tri-metal main bearings
    NEW ACL rod bearings
NEW Chet Herbert Solid Roller Cam, .567/.567" lift, 242/242@.50" 110*LC
NEW Springs, lifters, pushrods, and stainless steel valves for big solid roller cam
NEW 3HP Chrome Gear reduction starter
    NEW Professional Products Harmonic Balancer
    NEW Flywheel

I paid Louis Boyd in Oklahoma City, OK to balance the rotating assembly. The block was checked for thickness, bored .030" to match the pistons, and each bore was honed within exact clearances to the pistons.

I've spared no expense to make this the engine of my dreams. According to desktop dyno this engine made about 550 HP with an airgap intake and a 750 CFM carburetor. This engine does not come with cylinder heads, carburetor, or intake, though it does come with everything needed to assemble a pair of small block cylinder heads. Every part in this engine is brand new, still in the box except for the block, it had +/- 50,000 miles on it when it was pulled.

Asking $3000 O.B.O for the entire lot. I'm really in a bind and need the cash for tuition. This engine is easily worth more on an open market and would for sure make anyone happy with a good pair of heads. This engine was intended to go into a 3800 pound car with a 150 shot of nitrous on it for drag racing but since my situation has changed and it has to go! Thanks!
