SBC Bowtie Heads
I am selling a set of small block chevy cast iron bowtie heads. I bought them about 7 years ago from a local GM dealer to put on a car I was doing. The car was sold so they were never installed. These are complete with 7/16 screw in studs and guide plates. They are angle plug with 2.02 int 1.60 exh valves. Ready to bolt on. I am asking 650.00 plus 75.00 shipping. (a lot of shipping weight here) Contact me at dmk10@atlanticbb.net

they are 64 cc. I may be negotiable on the price if someone is really interested but I cant come down much. They are complete...not just bare castings. I checked fedex ground on a price quote. Due to the weight I would ship in two seperate boxes and furthest shipping zone would cost about 75.00. I would give an exact price depending on what zip code they would go to. I would only charge what it costs me. If any one is interested let me know...Oh and here is a picture under the cover

Looks like you have 1.255" springs . And stock retainers with oil deflectors . Theses heads should have 1.450 to 1.500 springs . And HD retainers and locks . They could not have came assembled like this from Chevy . lets see the bottom of these heads .

They did not come assembled but I ordered everything from the performance parts catalog and had a local machine shop put them together for me.

Looks like they may have used OEM steel valves 202/160 . They are a nice casting . But it would be best to Re do them with better S/S valves and wider HD springs and retainers . Then they would be a great set of heads . Its alway best for the buyer to know every thing about what they are buying . $450.00 is about right for these heads .

Well...I just looked for these heads new...Best price I found was 300.00 a head just for the bare castings...Thats no valves, springs, retainers, locks...also mine has 7/16 screw in studs and guide plates. You dont get that with bare castings. Fully assembled you would have over 850.00 to 900.00 in these heads. Just so everyone knows what I am offering. I don't think the price is bad.

These are phase 1- 034 heads discontinued in the 90s . And they are a true 67/68 cc head that was listed as a 64cc head . They are nice and If you were a local sale with no shipping I would go $500.00 . Try and get $500.00 bucks . To do them right all the valves and springs/retainers need to be changed .
