Early CHEVY MUSCLE Motors....
Guys,
I posted the story earlier and now I have the motors here in my shop. Only one Engine shows ANY damage and that is a complete 396 with a partially "sucked valve". I have no idea how much internal damage if any......
There are about 7 2-BOLT MAINS- NO 4-BOLTS IN THE 396 SERIES. Absolutely none of these motors have a ridge in the cylinders! I have the casting numbers and serial numbers even for anyone that might want them.
One 350 2 Bolt Main that has a Factory installed lower baffle plate and is INTERNALLY BALANCED BY GM!
I have 4 350 that are 4-BOLT MAINS
ALL 409's, 427's, and 454's HAVE BEEN SOLD- Sorry.
3 - 350's two Bolt Mains besides the first one listed above
One 305 from (Per Alan Colvin) GM Race Team? GM Experimental Team, or GM's Tech Research team.
I would ASSUME it is a two bolt engine but we haven't pulled the pan yet. It came with a large Holley and a GM aluminum intake ????
5 - Four Bolt 350 Mains. 2 that are 2-Bolt.
Again these motors with the exception of one 396 show absolutely minor wear. No ridges in the top of the cylinders at all. Three newer (Early 70's) 350 motors one is a 4 Bolt Main.
Multiple brackets, OEM EXHAUST MANIFOLDS ( You get me the numbers you want and I'll check to see if I have them.)
All motors are being sold with the profits going to the Widow of the owner. I would love to sell them all as a GROUP but I will separate.
All the HEADS (Cast Iron OEM) are here for each motor.
Numerous, and I mean NUMEROUS parts for A/C pumps, PWR Steering, Alternators, are here too. I have just to many scattered parts to list here.
Call if you want and I'll see if I can't help you. I have pulleys galore but I'd like to sell those with the motors.
