"Double Hump" heads for sale
Hey Guys,,,I have a set of numbers matching 1965,327ci double hump heads for sale.I did some research and found that these were originally 2.02 heads and not the 1.94's.The heads have had a little port work done to them, but nothing radical, they have had the 1.44 springs installed and the rocker studs have been pinned.I will tell you this,,they are in need of a valve job and new guides.Me and a friend of mine who is a machinist, checked to make sure there were no cracks, like I said,,they just need to be cleaned up.They don't have the accessory bolt holes,so they would make a good set of heads for a restoration project. The casting number is:3782461,and the casting dates are C-29-5,,and,,,C-30-5,,these are not the X's.I've been looking on Ebay,,and there are people trying to sell these heads for as much as $2800.00,,most of them listed are 1000-1500 dollars,,which is nuts,,to say the least. If anyone knows anyone who is interested in these,,give me a shout,,I replaced them so as to lower my compression on my hotrod,,62cc's with the pistons I have were making me look for 100 octane fuel,,and that was taking the fun out of me cruising,,anyway,,I have them priced at $275.00 plus shipping. If you want some pictures,,email me and I will send them to you. Thanks
