Not advised for a vehicle that will be run at the drag strip. The rescue crew must have a quick, easy way to get into the vehicle to remove an unconscious driver with the vehicle on fire. Think about it.

I understand that, and that's fine if that's what you want to do. I'm just makin' the fellows aware that it won't fly at the drag strip.

Geez thanks, that was helpful. I tested these in the car and they worked fine, decide to go with actuators. Same basic kit as Autoloc. What was the problem with the shaved door kit you bought from Electric Life? What could go wrong, key fob, solenoids, and receiver. No different than car locks on cars for the last 25 years.

Got shaved doors on mine, love em! Plus it keeps the riff raft out at shows or otherwise.
I installed an emergency switch (hidden) incase I lock the keys in it (don't ask) and a cable pull (also hidden) incase the battery is dead. Never had any problems (knock on wood), other than user error.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
