Nifty Stuff To Trade
Guys, if you live in Ontario, Canada, maybe you can help me out. I desperately need a good manual Vega steering box for my roadster pickup project. I have a chromed, drilled, but not dropped, I beam axle, reversed eye transverse spring, and shackles that I will trade even for a good Vega box. This axle looks to have the same "smile" and center to center length as a model A Ford. It had 1940 Ford spindles on it, but I have used them on my Super Bell.
I don't think that the axle has ever seen any road use. It was on my project when I bought it, and I have swapped it out for a 4" dropped SuperBell to get my project lower in the front. For anyone building a fenderless high-boy where they can zee the frame, or a T-bucket, this front-end set-up would be perfect. It is almost impossible to trade with anybody outside of the province because of the cost of shipping, customs hastle, etc. Email me brupnow@rogers.com---I can send digital pictures.Old guy hot rodder
